So it's been quite a while since I have had an opportunity to write... Sorry to my faithful readers.

David and I have been pretty busy. Last weekend we decided at the last minute to hit Chicago. We hung out at Navy Pier for a few hours then met my sister for a deep dish pizza supper. It was terrific! We took pictures of Beth's new place but I will have to post them later as I am at a local library. That Saturday we followed with our usual tradition of an early morning swim and a nice big breakfast following. We spent the late afternoon and evening with friends from our church. We BBQ'd and hung out. On Sunday we went to church and spent some time just hanging out. I don't remember what we prepared for dinner but I am sure it was good!

David's Uncle Tom passed through town on his way to visit friends and relatives on the East Coast. He spent a Wednesday night on the way and a Tuesday night on the way back. Since David and I are both working and I am in class we didn't see much of Tom but we did share a meal with him each way. Since we move so frequently, we aren't really set up for company but Tom is a single guy and just brought along a twin sized mattress and camped out on our living room floor. It worked out OK. Once David and I get some place slightly permenate we will be looking for something with an extra bedroom and bathroom so we have a little more space for visitors.

I started class this week. I am taking a business class. I had high hopes for taking several classes but only the one worked out. I am to the point in my nursing degree that I really can't take any more classes until I am at the University that will give me my BSN so pharmacology was out. The other two were full before my previous transcripts could be reviewed. I think that I will really enjoy the business class. I would like to get an AA or maybe even more in Business to go along with my BSN. I think that taking business classes would benefit any person regardless of their profession of choice.

Work is going fairly well. My direct supervisor had to take a months leave for a medical proceedure and she asked that I work a few more hours. I think it will work out OK with my school schedule as she really just wants me to be avaliable.... meaning I may be getting paid to study. = )

David and I went to Naperdays today. Naperville is a nice town a few miles from where we are in Aurora. They are having their annual celebration which includes a Taste Of Naperville. We tried an Indian resturant, a Japanese resturant and a grill of sorts. David wanted a braut and I wanted the fresh handmade lemoneade. It was really quite good.

This evening David and I are going out but I don't know where. He came home with flowers this morning when he went to get his haircut. They are really pretty. I have pictures but will have to post them later.

Tomorrow we are going to church and making a crockpot version of Swiss Steak. The round steaks that you beat to death then cook in a gravey and serve over mashed potatoes... Hmmm...
We'll probably just relax tomorrow afternoon and get to bed early after the evening serivce. We have a movie, Schindler's List, that we haven't finished yet so perhaps we'll get to that.

Anyway, we hope everyone is doing well and I will post some pictures shortly. I have just learned that the library here has WIFI so I can bring our laptop and upload all of our pictures that way!
