This weekend we went to Michigan to visit with our dear friends Tony and Rachel. While we were there one of our favorite people, Johnny Walker, passed through and spent a few hours with us! He also brought along his mother whom we hadn't met before. Ah, but it was refreshing to spend time with good friends. We get lonesome for close friends we have known for years. It's always fun to meet new people but there's something about spending time with people that you have a history with. Tony and Rachel are remodeling their home. They are doing all the work themselves and we aren't talking about just a new paint job. They have walls torn down with plans to move the whole kitchen and make a laundry room... David had a blast helping to remove walls and insulation. On Saturday night we had a nice big bon fire with some of the wood they had removed. We roasted marshmallows and just kind of hung out. It was very nice. I have finished up my class with a 99.4%. I am kind of disappointed I didn't make a 100% but the 99 is still an A. David and I have both signed up for Fall classes. David is taking the business class I just finished and I am taking a Nutrition class and a Statistics class... well, hopefully that is. My transcript from LU has yet to arrive. The councilor is going to review what I got from TJC and hopefully take the math classes that they had transferred. It's kind of been a pain. I will also look into a third class this afternoon. I am working Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have three full days to take classes. Hopefully I can fit three or four in but we'll see. Anyway I have bread in the oven that needs tending so I should sign off. Hopefully I will have time to write about our up coming trip to Aruba!
