What we have been up to.......

On the House

• Gutted guest bath (but left the tub/shower combo)
• Stripped out the linoleum in the guest bath
• Laid all the new ceramic tile in guest bath (We grout this evening!)
• Purchased an (on sale) vanity/sink combo
• Purchased a new toilet
• Purchased our wood flooring! It took 2.5 years of saving up but we finally made the big purchase. We caught a pretty nice sale on the bamboo we wanted and now have piles of bamboo in the guest room waiting to be installed.

In the Yard & Garden
Our friend was kind enough to help us out with....

• Tree trimming
• Yard taming
• Mulch spreading
• David did most of the work to get all the plants transferred from the house to the garden and it's growing like crazy! I pick peas and eat them just about every day. We haven't done anything more than eat them fresh out of the garden. =) Melons are growing hopefully we'll be picking those soon.

In School

• Wrapped up the semester long group project that ended with a 40 minute presentation last week
• Two more weeks of classes which include several exams and papers and a presentation
• One week of finals

In Life

• My dear friend is getting MARRIED and asked me to be a bridesmaid. I baked about 250 cookies for her shower
  
• Planning her bachelorette party
• Since we were in Dallas for the shower we made a 24 hour trip of it and arrived home about 4:30am
• Looking forward to free time!!!

Apologies for slow response times and busyness - we hope to have some free time and travel time and sitting about time in a few weeks. ;)
