The Honda 599 is one sweet little machine that is a perfect first bike. It as plenty of power but with a very drivable torque curve. The suspension is very forgiving, giving the rider plenty of warning. The biggest selling point though is the "Mad Max" naked styling. This little bike should be an excellent commuter for years to come. I have added no mods as of yet. I have been contemplating adding a small faring and some highway pegs, both of which must match the styling. I was blessed with a wife that likes to go riding with me. To take an afternoon ride with my wife is one of the best ways to burn a few hours.
