This poor little guy doesn't look like much more than a stone but he was a tiny little turtle. Because we have had such dry hot weather all the turtles are crossing the street. The swamp is drying up on the one side. I've picked up and moved several myself because they are so cute. It's sad to see them mashed into the pavement.






This is one of the little guys that I've moved across the street. David and I found him yesterday while we were walking. He was really tiny and very cute but David didn't want to keep him. He was so dry he couldn't swim below the surface of the water and I had to give him a little push.
