OUR NEW DIGS!

Our porch and front window. We are on the first floor (obviously). Our bedroom window looks out over the porch. The "front door" is a shared entry hallway with three other apartments. The back door doesn't have an outside keylock. So far it's been a quiet, comfortable place.




We started a small vegetable/herb garden this afternoon. Yesterday we went plant shopping. Today we replanted. We have chives, sweet basil, oregano, cucumbers, squash and peas. We may have to replant some of it later but we're giving it the go. We also planted a row of peas along the inside of our little privacy fence.





When we arrived there was a bird feeder here. It had huge holes so the black birds were being hoggy. We took it down and put up this one, designed specifically for small birds. It's filled with thistle. We have a nice view from both our bedroom window and living room window. David will rehang the other birdfeeder some time this week. It basically looks the same except in green.
