CHILI & CORN BREAD FED
Last night we did dinner with the neighbors again. David only worked a short time and I was in the office for over 8 hours so he made a batch of chili. He called me for my typical mix and then twisted it up and made it his own. He made the chili with steak rather than ground beef and made it super hot. One of our neighbors was making the mild batch, he wanted to do the HOT one. Although it was too hot for my tongue (which means it was perfect for David), it turned out really well. The men in particular, were impressed with his chunky, hearty steak and kielbasa (I typically do kielbasa in my chili, just not steak) chili. The usual onions and kidney beans were included. Our neighbors brought corn bread and mild chili and salad to the table. All in all we've been eating really well. David's calling it the "Hurricane Pounds."
