David went into the office for a little while yesterday then came by and picked up myself and two co-workers for lunch. We had a nice break from the craziness of the office at Johnny Rockets. We think it was our first time eating there. Pretty good burgers and shakes. David and I split one of each and had plenty of food. At some point yesterday afternoon our internet service resumed. Very nice. Many, many, many people - even in our Imperial Oaks division - are still with out electricity. It's wild. Of our friends from church there are only a couple of us with electricity. Of my co-workers, there are only three of us out of about 14. David's co-workers are still without electricity as well. Gas, food and ice are back in play pretty much like normal. Cell phone service still isn't normal because FEMA and some of the other Federal Aid people have "borrowed" some lines or something like that. I'm not sure what the correct terminology is on that one.
We may have house guests this evening and tomorrow. The temperatures are going to start climbing back up today and tomorrow but will hopefully go back down by Wednesday.
