Hubs told me a few days ago that he looked through pictures a friend of ours recently put on Facebook from '98-'99 college days. David said that when he saw pictures of me he thought, "That hottie married me!" *sigh* That every woman should be married to a guy that looks at ten year old pictures and still is amazed that he was lucky enough to marry her. It's wonderful.

People sometimes get irritated because we so selfishly guard our alone time together but here's the thing - I still want David to think he's lucky to have me in another ten years and still another. Friends, make time to spend with your spouses and cherish it. Our friendship is one of my favorite things. I love knowing I can spill the beans to David about anything and not have to worry about who he's going to tell. How many people do we have like that in our lives? =-) And for my readers that aren't married - marry your best friend because it's so fun!!!! (Amongst other things.)
