My husband has been in IL for nearly two weeks. He's had snow while up there and I've been a little envious although I was taking finals so I've been too busy to stop and enjoy anything... this afternoon it started to snow - tiny little icy bits - but there wasn't much to show for it. It has continued to snow and lookie here!!! We have a little evidence. I'm so excited it's perfect. I can't believe we're having SNOW in HOUSTON!!!! Yea us! Scratch wandered around the yard but only when I went out with him. He thought it was odd. He's now snoring in his bed as he's worn himself out investigating all this crazy white stuff taking over his yard and toys. Sunshine wasn't nearly as interested in it as she was the scent of the skunk that passed through. It was pretty potent. She picked up on it in the house and begged to go out. I flipped on the light and let her make lots of noise at the door for a few minutes hoping the skunk would be gone before she discovered it. We didn't see the guy (thankfully!!) but we definitely SMELLED it and Sunshine went wild searching for it. They like disgusting smells, when one passes gas they both sniff around to discover which made such an odor. Fabulous. Then they get very excited and act as though they are congratulating the other. They act like teenage boys. Anyway we have snow!! Just what I need to get me in gear to finish Christmas cards. (more pics: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=66266&l=93ecb&id=678116408)
