STEP ONE: LEVEL CONCRETE SLAB

Didn't get actual pictures of the process but this is the end result. It takes both of us because the leveling agent has a "time" on it. The compound starts to set within minutes.

Basically everything is off the walls and out of the room. We have the couch and a few wall hangings. I was waiting to see how much grinding we'd have to do. Thankfully it looks like none. How nice!












Clean up is relatively easy, just rinse everything before it hardens. ;)















David got a new gadget out of the deal as well. Mixing up the leveling agent is a huge task when one does it by hand. He was quite happy about the gadget. He says it's a cheap drill but it's a back up - he primarily uses the DeWalt I purchased pre-marriage.
