Flooring: DONE
Well mostly. We have all the bamboo flooring down but we still need to finish trim work and transition pieces. I love it. It's beautiful. It made David sick. I did the bulk of the sealant but the glue must have been made with corn as well. He slept in the garage in a tent for two nights. Now he's sleeping at the neighbors house for a few nights. (I'm telling you we have the BEST neighbors a girl could ask for - they even stopped by to see if he needed any snacks for tonights sleepover.)
We started installing the bamboo about 10:40am on Friday July 2 and placed the last piece in the hall closet at about 2:30am on Saturday July 3. A pretty good days and nights work I'd say.

11AM - First row of bamboo installation
Mid Afternoon - Almost to the 1/2 point in the living & dining area (It's raining like crazy and we have to start trucking to the garage over the freshly installed bamboo - hence the cardboard boxes.)
Saturday 07.03.10
2:30 AM - David is cutting the very last peice of bamboo for the project.
Sunday 07.04.10
2PM - We have peeled the tape off the flooring in the living & dining areas. Sunshine and Scratch are adjusting to the new "no playing or running" in the house rule.
We still have work to do such as moving furniture back where it belongs and rehanging pictures and what not but we are so happy with the results! The floors look and feel amazing and we are excited to have a house that is no longer under construction. It's been a long 7 months!
